Still in South Dakota

Monday, May 19th ~ Wall, South Dakota, what can we say... biggest tourist trap we've ever seen. The wooden sidewalks were pretty cool, and the food was good, but every store carried the same stuff, you've seen one you've seen them all. We stayed at a campground called Sleepy Hallow. This place was straight out of the 70s, including the store and the lady that worked in it. Pretty funny.

Wednesday, May 21st ~ It's 7:00am and we're already on the road heading to Sturgis, SD. Now this is more like it. We're staying at Rush No More and it's beautiful. It's located in a valley surrounded by rolling hills covered in pine trees. There are horses next door and it's so neat to hear them. We were told that two weeks ago they had 30 inches of snow that lasted a week. Thank goodness that's gone, but it is a bit cool.

We will start our touring tomorrow and really look forward to it.
